Open Concept Gallery

Open Concept Gallery displays experimental, historical, and unique presentations of aesthetic, social, political, and environmental issues. With a substantial reputation for curatorial innovation and its depth of programming within a diverse media, Open Concept Gallery is always on the verge of change.

Located in the Trade Center building at 50 Louis St. NW in downtown Grand Rapids, Open Concept Gallery’s main gallery is a former Masonic temple, and is one of the most distinctive exhibition spaces in the city.

SMart Festival, Michigan’s only multimedia art festival is organized annually by Open Concept Gallery. Partnered with other cultural institutions in Grand Rapids, work is presented to celebrate new media art from all over the world.

Open Concept Gallery is open to the public by appointment, Monday-Friday: 1-5 pm.
